Initially KMMI group was Exporting Iron ore to Japan, China, South Korea, Pakistan and other countries through MMTC Ltd. With the change in economic policy programme by the Indian government and relaxation of norms for direct export, KMMI group started exporting Iron ore directly from the year 2001-2002 and the first shipment was carried out from the Mormugao port by 'M.V. Anangel Express'.
KMMI exports Iron ore from the Ports of Chennai, Mormugao, Mangalore, Kakinada and Vishakhapatnam. KMMI group has grown to be one of the leading Iron Ore exporters in India.
KMMI offers a wide range of products for both indigenous & international markets.
